The Tampa Bay Strong Dogs are a new Division III wheelchair basketball team serving the greater Tampa Bay area. With the support of BlazeSports Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation & Conservation Dept., and the James A. Haley VA Hospital’s Adaptive Sports & Fitness Program, the Strong Dogs hope to become a fixture in Tampa Bay, giving all adult wheelchair users the opportunity to practice competitive wheelchair basketball in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

in the area the opportunity
to play wheelchair basketball
at a competitive level.
As members of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association,
the TB Strong Dogs comply with all the regulations of this national organization, competing against other teams in the region, and at the national championship tournament. This competitive spirit is complemented by a desire to give
new players the opportunity
to develop their skills in a
friendly and fun atmosphere.
