TOURNAMENT RESULTS - Day 1

The first day of the Florida VS. Georgia Wheelchair Basketball Tournament was an exhilarating success!

The Tampa Bay Strong Dogs kicked off the tournament with a 54 - 24 win against the Shepherd Stealers. Khalil Diop from the Stealers was his team's highest scorer, but he was no match for Shelton Mobley, Tampa's captain, who gave the Strong Dogs their first win of the season.

During the second game, Brian Foley from the Orlando Magic Wheels gave his team a 48 - 24 win against the Augusta Bulldogs.

Even thought he did not give his team a "W", Mark Sheiber did give the Bulldogs the most baskets.

After losing the first game against the Strong Dogs, the Shepherd Stealers got a 39 - 29 win against the Orlando Magic. Brian Foley was again the star of the Magic Wheels, but it was the Stealers' Jibbie Jabbie who got the most buckets of the game.

Leading the entire game, The Tampa Bay Strong Dogs got their second win of the day. Jimmy Green brought home the 56 - 21 victory against the August Bulldogs, despite Chris Bryant's best efforts. This win gives the Strong Dogs the tournament's lead, but the Bulldogs have one more chance to show their skills during Sunday's second game.
