The Orlando Magic Wheels came to Clearwater, FL Nov. 15 - 16, to host the first Division III tournament of the season.
The competition was arduous this weekend when the Tampa Bay Strong Dogs played against the host team, the Orlando Magic Wheels. The Dogs were victorious in three of their four games, a testament to their tight defense and bold offense. While only winning one game, the Magic Wheels’ Jeff Morgan, Bryan Foley and Connie Sloat gave memorable performances. This tournament marks the beginning of a promising season for the Strong Dogs. Under the expert coaching of nationally known Division II player Jeremy Campbell and coach Wayne Bozeman, the Strong Dogs’ dream of going to nationals seemed more like a given this weekend.
